Jena

Jena is an open-source Java API for developing semantic applications. Jena has object classes to represent graphs, resources, properties and literals. Jena provides a programmatic environment for RDF, RDFS and OWL, including a rule-based inference engine. TopBraid Composer uses the Jena API for various purposes including parsing and SPARQL execution.

Among others, the Jena Framework includes:

• Reading and writing RDF in RDF/XML, Turtle and N-Triples
• In-memory and persistent storage
• The SPARQL query language for RDF
